The City of Maple Valley Parks & Recreation Department has year-around schedule of programs and activities. Below please find the most current information on youth athletics and activities.

Pee Wee Soccer

September 13 - October 25

THIS LEAGUE IS FULL AND CLOSED FOR REGISTRATION

Pee wee soccer will be offered on Saturday's, starting in September 2008, for children 3-5 years old. Please contact the Parks & Recreation Department for more information.

Youth Karate

September 15 - December 17, Lake Wilderness Lodge

Pacific Martial Arts Academy focuses on traditional Okinawan martial arts with emphasis on life-protection techniques regardless of an individual’s size. Our students curriculum is an ongoing understanding of self defense through basic techniques, pressure point strikes, kata, and controlled sparing. As with the study of any art, the benefits are personal and will last a lifetime. Uniforms can be purchased through the instructor.

Liberty Bell Cheer Class

September 30 - November 4, Lake Wilderness Lodge

Liberty Bell Spirit Squad staff will teach the fundamentals of cheerleading: arm motions, body position, jumps, voice projection and basic dance technique will be introduced in a safe environment. This class is for every level. Come to class prepared to move! Wear comfortable clothes and non-marking athletic shoes. A competition routine will be performed in November.
