The Lake Wilderness Lodge is owned and operated by the City of Maple Valley. The Lodge provides a unique location to hold your wedding, reception, conference, or special event. The Lodge offers a spectacular view of the lake from all three floors and is spacious enough to allow for multi-use. Dance downstairs, dine on the main floor, or have a cozy chat on the mezzanine. We're here to help you make your event amazing. Our newly renovated Conference Wing offers nicely appointed meeting rooms with individual decks and several other rooms that can accommodate seminars, meetings and training sessions. Make an appointment with us so that we can show you all that we can offer you for your special event.
Our office and tour hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is no need to make an appointment, but we do have private events that may be session during our normal business hours, so please call ahead to confirm the availability of a tour. For reservations and information please call 425-432-9953. The Lake Wilderness Lodge is closed on all City Holidays and Christmas Eve.
The Lake Wilderness Lodge was built in the early 1950's. In 2003 the Lodge was added to the Washington Heritage Register of Historic Places. To view a complete history of the Lodge click here.
Rental of the Main Lodge includes the main floor, lower floor, mezzanine and use of our warming kitchen. The Main Lodge can accommodate up to 250 guests.

The Lake Wilderness Lodge offers a rustically elegant retreat to hold a business meeting, seminar or conference. Our newly renovated Upper Conference Wing offers two nicely appointed meeting rooms, which can accommodate 25 to 50 people, with wireless internet access and individual decks that overlook Lake Wilderness and offer some of the best views of Mount Rainier. Richly redesigned in colors befitting the 1950's Lodge, these rooms are a wonderful addition to this historic Lodge. Our Lower Conference Wing offers two lakeside meeting rooms with wireless internet access.
Rental of our conference rooms is by the hour and set-up for your meeting will be provided by our Lodge staff. Wireless internet access is provided at no additional charge. Use of our warming kitchen may be added for an additional fee, with day and time limitations, please asks our Lodge Manager for details.
Special pricing packages are available for multiple rooms, days and reoccurring rentals of the Main Lodge and Conference rooms. Please speak to our Lodge Manager about the discounts available for these kinds of rentals.
The Lodge has a full compliment of equipment available to assist you with your audio visual needs or we would be happy to facilitate the rental of equipment needed to make your meeting or conference planning easier.
