Neighborhood Reinvestment Program

This annual community partnership program, sponsored by the City of Maple Valley, is designed to provide to citizen groups with the City limits funding awards for a wide range of projects throughout the City for improvement of the safety and livability of their neighborhoods. Past grants have been awarded for projects such as neighborhood public park enhancements, street lighting, habitat restoration, and landscaping.

A minimum 25 percent community match in cash and/or in-kind contributions, such as volunteer hours, is required for each project, and the maximum grant for an approved project is $15,000. Neighborhood Reinvestment Program (NRP) grants will be awarded only to projects that convey benefit and remain open to the general public. Applications must be received at Maple Valley City Hall on or before the designated application due date, and all projects must be completed by November 30th of the grant year.

For more information about the Program, contact Bonnie Barney, Deputy City Clerk, at (425) 413-8800 or bonnie.barney@maplevalleywa.gov.
