The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the City's streets, sidewalks, traffic signals and stormwater facilites.
In addition, the Department implements the City-Council-approved Transportation Improvement Program, Non-Motorized Transportation Plan [PDF] and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) by providing engineering, project management and technical services.

Report Spills and Other Water Quality Issues |

Spills and other water quality issues can be reported to the Public Works Department by calling 425-413-8800 during business hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please call the Washington Department of Ecology at 1-800-645-7911 to report spills after hours, weekends or holidays.
In order to protect water quality, the public is encouraged to report spills and improper disposal, including suspected illicit connections or discharges, into the City’s municipal stormwater system or any body of water in Maple Valley. |
